I’d like to wish all the boys as well as the parents and guardians of my class the very best of luck as you leave St. Joseph’s Primary School, Gorey and embark upon the next big adventure of your lives. You are a great bunch of boys. You worked so hard all year and really did yourselves proud. The world is your oyster boys. Enjoy the summer and begin secondary school with the same great attitude that you had during your time in my class. I am very excited for your futures and can’t wait to hear how your lives unfold. Wishing you all every success and happiness for the years ahead. Best wishes from Mrs. Carter

Mrs. Carter’s 6th Class Work

Hello everybody, I hope you’re all doing great. The end of June is in sight now so I’ve given very little work. I’ve included lots of other activities for you to do this week though- read through them and see which ones appeal to you. There are many others like them on YouTube if you’d like to try some more. My email address is clara.carter@stjosephsgorey.ie so contact me if I can be of any assistance.

Here is this week’s timetable. Follow it if you wish or follow your own schedule, whichever is easiest for you. Enjoy the activities and try do a little maths and English too. Continue to send your work to me as I love seeing how you’re getting on. Do your best, that’s all we can ask for, and stay safe everybody.

Mrs. Carter’s Work 8th – 12th June 2020

Hello everybody, I hope you’re doing well. The end of June is almost here so I’ve only a little work to keep you thinking, a little English and maths. Do as much as you can. If you find something difficult just move on or email me and I’ll help. You can answer the English questions orally and please try to do a few sums from each of the three pages each day as revision before we finish up for the summer. Make sure to get lots of exercise every day especially now that the restrictions are being lifted and keep reading lots and lots.

I have attached the answers to last week’s and this week’s New Wave Mental Maths and this week’s Figure it Out Answers. Use these to help you spot where you’re going wrong. In Maths, if you find you’ve made a mistake, use the answer to help you work backwards and try to figure out where you’re going wrong. If you need any help please email me on clara.carter@stjosephsgorey.ie

This timetable is a guide. You can follow it if you like or follow your own schedule. Do what you can. Your best effort is all that any of us can do. Stay safe everybody!!
