Thank you to everyone who donated a shoebox to our Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal this year. In total, there were 202 shoes boxes donated….one of the biggest donations in North Wexford! These shoeboxes will be given to less fortunate children in Europe and Africa. For more information about where the shoeboxes go, you can look up www.teamhope.ie. A big thank you to Mrs. Fleming’s Junior Infants and to 6th Class for helping to carry out all 202 shoeboxes last Friday! Now we know how Santa’s elves feel after loading up the sleigh! 🎅

Christmas Shoebox Appeal 2024
Christmas Shoebox Appeal 2023
A huge thank you to everyone who donated a shoebox to the Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal 2023. This year, the pupils and staff of St. Joseph’s PS donated 241 shoeboxes! In 2022, we donated 193 shoeboxes. This is an incredible amount! Each shoebox donated will make a less fortunate child very happy this Christmas! The shoeboxes were collected on Tuesday and thank you to all the pupils and staff who helped load up the Team Hope van, especially Ms. O’Dwyer’s class and Ms. Doyle’s class. It was like the elves loading up Santa’s sleigh with goodies! Once again, thank you very much for all the shoeboxes! 🙂
Pancake Tuesday in Junior Infants
We had lots of fun in school today! This morning we had hurling training for the first time. It was so much fun and our coach was very helpful. After break we had pancakes! We had a choice of chocolate spread, lemon juice, jam and syrup for our toppings! They were so yummy! We had a great day in school!
