Busy Bees in Senior Infants! :)

Senior Infants have been very busy since we returned from our Easter Holidays! We have created lots of wonderful works of Art and have also been working hard at our Maths. This week we were measuring the length and width of lots of objects using lollipop sticks. Our Aistear theme for May is ‘The Clothes Shop’. As you can see from our photos, we have had lots of fun dressing up as customers in our clothes shop and creating lots of clothes related junk art! 🙂

March Madness!

March has been a very busy month for Senior Infants! We learnt about St. Patrick, Easter and The 1916 Easter Rising. We made lots of art and crafts based on these topics! It was lots of fun! We also made Mother’s Day art and cards. Our theme this month for Aistear is ‘The Garden Centre’. As part of of our Aistear, we planted  grass seeds into paper cups to make ‘Grass Heads’ . Fingers crossed our grass will grow! After all this hard work, we definitely deserve a break…luckily the Easter holidays are only around the corner! 🙂

World Book Day in Senior Infants!

Senior Infants had lots of fun dressing up as characters from their favourite books and stories! We brought in our favourite books and had fun going around looking at all the books. We also listened to stories being read aloud online and our teacher read us stories too. It was a great day! 🙂

Mother’s Day Art and Crafts.

Senior Infants were very busy this week making lots of lovely art and crafts for their mothers and all the other important ladies in their lives. It’s our way of saying thanks for everything that our mothers do for us! 🙂
