Hi everyone
I hope you are all well and keeping busy. Keep up all the great work and activities. You are all doing great!!
We will all be back together in St. Joseph’s working hard and having fun in the near future.
Parents please don’t hesitate to contact me if you need assistance with any work that has been sent previously or in the future.

Keep yourselves busy with some of the activities I have added for you and try your best at the work set out for this week. Read a little everyday and practice tables each day.
Please work ahead as best you can on the links I have provided if you have access to them.
There is no pressure at all to get all this work completed just keep your great imaginations and brains active !!!!
Please just do what you can and leave anything that you find confusing or extra extra tricky and don’t worry we will catch up on it when we’re all back to school.

PE:
Try some of these:
a. Jump on your trampoline
b. Walk your dog
c. play fetch with your dog
d. Hula hoop for 5 minutes – how many spins can you do without dropping it?
e. Play basketball with someone for 10 minutes
f. Yard work – collecting leaves, rake, weed etc.
g. Play twister
h. Wheelbarrow, dwarf, frog races
i. Bubble bashing – get someone to blow bubbles for you and try to burst all of them
j. Do three laps of your house garden or up and down the hall 10 times
l. Juggle – balls, socks, oranges…
m. Play a Wii sports game
n. Do some training –football, hurling, gymnastics etc.
o. Keepie uppies – how many can you get in a row?
p. 20 lunges
q. 10 side leg raises on each leg
r. Walk up and down the stairs/hall 5 times
s. 10 donkey kicks on each leg
t. Wall sit for 30-60 seconds and repeat
u. 20 frog jumps
w. Skip sideways up and down the garden 5 times
x. 20 sit up and touch toes
y. 20 leg kicks
z. March on the spot for 2 minutes
Art and Projects

Work For Mrs.Murphy’s Group
1) Read for 15 minutes per day at their own level no more than 3 difficult words per page ! Pick out two words and record them because they are difficult or interesting ! Ask somebody to ask questions based on what u have read to ensure understanding !
2) Tables 2 and 4 multiplication and practice them on https://www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/ hit the button
3) Tables test every week asking at least 20 sums .
4) More rapid testing of multiplication tables using website https:// arithmetic.zetamac.com ! Change multiplication range 2-12 multiply by 2-12.
5) Children need to make connections with maths and real life ! Mental Maths is an ideal time to help kids find tricks and easier little ways to complete their Maths ! If it a money question for example get out the money , draw it ! Help then to figure it out . Don’t worry if they get stuck we will be there to go over it all when we get back to work ! Art and Projects

-Design a soccer gaa or camogie jersey or a t-shirt for you favourite tv show or video game.
-You can also do projects on topics of your choice. ( people places hobbies art etc) I would love to see any projects you do. Pictures can be sent to me on my school email provided.
-This is a link to The Great Isolation Activity Book. They’re are some nice activities to do with your family of siblings. You may be able to print it or just use ideas from the booklet too and put your own stamp on it. Enjoy !!!!
