Biz World
On the 8th and 9th of February both 5th classes became dragons and entrepreneurs for real. Bank of Ireland praised them for their outstanding ideas, work ethic and communication skills when delivering their pitches to two Bank of Ireland managers. The businesses that received most “Biz Bucks” investments included:
- Stepocharger which is a phone charger powered by movement.
- Tornado Box: a lunch box which regulates temperature.
- Super Pets: a GPS dog collar to track down dogs.
- Scushions: cushions to make school chairs more comfortable.
Well done to all the boys and girls involved and watch this space Gorey!!
10 @ 10 for Operation Transformation
St. Joseph’s pupils and teachers alike really got into the swing of Operation Transformation‘s 10 @ 10 today. We got the blood flowing and our hearts were racing as we exercised for 10 minutes at 10 am this morning. Temperatures were low but the children weren’t cold for long.
