6th Class School Tour

On Thursday October 24th 6th Class went on their first school tour of the year. We went to Croke Park where we were brought on a very interesting tour of the stadium before we visited the museum, games room and gift shop. After lunch we visited the Natural History Museum on Merrion Square. We had a great day and many of us snoozed the whole way home.

Author Visit at Gorey Library

6th class had the privilege of meeting with Alan Nolan in Gorey library today. He is the hilarious author of the Sam Halligan series and is also an impressive illustrator. We had a wonderful time listening to his descriptions and gaining inspiration from his writing skills. Thank you once again to Gorey library for giving us this wonderful opportunity.

Awards Ceremony

Congratulations to all of the boys and girls who collected awards today in St. Joseph’s and well done to Johnny Connors 6th class who won the Ger Hogan Award for his wonderful contribution to St Joseph’s over the past five years. Well done Johnny!
