These are very beneficial for all students moving on to secondary school next year regardless of your choice of school. We would recommend you watch all 3 presentations as they will be beneficial ahead of your move to Creagh College or to Gorey Community School.

Hi again 6th Class,
I hope you all had a good weekend!
Just like last week there is only work for both English and Maths to complete this week. Try to continue your own personal daily reading for 20 minutes on top of this work as well. Here is an example of a timetable that might help you out this week to stay on top of your time:

You might prefer to do your Maths or English first everyday, that is entirely up to you. Try and spend no more than 30 minutes on both subjects (although work hard for those 30mins😊).
Remember you do not have to complete all the work, just try your best with what you can do. If you get stuck on something, don’t worry about it and move on to the next piece.

Hi 6th Class,
I hope you all enjoyed the Bank Holiday weekend and the great weather we had!
Below is the work for this week. This week there is only work for both English and Maths so once you have completed your work you’ll be able to enjoy the weather outside & get out to practise some of the sports you play! Here is an example of a timetable that might help you out this week to stay on top of your time:

Numbers to use are: 12; 6; 4; 7; 26; 5; 42.
You must use all the numbers and use addition, subtraction, multiplication and division!

Sentences – This week you’ve an extra challenge! You need to use all of this week’s list words in a story. Each day your story will be split into a paragragh so by Friday you will have four paragraphs. Put the first 6 spellings of your List Words into parapgragh 1 today. Must be the first 6 spellings! Best of luck with this one! 😊
