The Gardai came to visit Junior Infants!

We are learning about people who are responsible for safety in the community. The Gardai visited Junior Infants and taught them about safety strategies for crossing the road, using the bus or being a pedestrian. They each got a high visibility jacket. They even got to see the Garda car and turn on the siren.

World Book Day fun in Junior Infants!

Junior Infants dressed up as their favourite book character for World Book Day. They also brought in their favourite book and Ms. O’Neill’s third class came down and read the books to them. They all had great fun.

10 @ 10 for Operation Transformation

St. Joseph’s pupils and teachers alike really got into the swing of Operation Transformation‘s 10 @ 10 today. We got the blood flowing and our hearts were racing as we exercised for 10 minutes at 10 am this morning. Temperatures were low but the children weren’t cold for long.
