Primary Aquatic Water Safety
Thank you to Wexford Water Safety and well done to the boys and girls of 5th & 6th Class who were presented with their Land PAWS 1 Certificate today. They learned all about water safety at home, on the farm and at the seaside, just in time for the summer holidays.
P.A.W.S. in St. Joseph’s
On Tuesday May 30th Nicola Dowdall an instructor with the Irish Water Safety, Wexford Committee visited St. Joseph’s as part of the Primary Aquatic Water Safety in Schools (P.A.W.S.) Programme, for 5th and 6th classes. The children learned lots of valuable information while having great fun. The visit was well timed too as both of our 5th and 6th classes will be heading off this Friday to participate in water based activities on their respective school tours.
