World Book Day Table Quiz
Harry Potter, Don Conroy, Enid Blyton and Frances Hodgson Burnett were just some of the authors mentioned in the World Book Day quiz. Great fun was had by all with Sergis, Patrick, Luke and Cora winning to claim the grand prize. Well done to all the competitors 🙂
Book Club March 2017 & World Book Day Tokens
All children received the latest catalogue in school today. Orders can be sent in by next Monday (6th March). Books can be ordered online or by using the form as usual. Go to http://schools.scholastic.ie/st-josephs-cbs to browse the latest books and order online.
The children were also given a World Book Day token which is worth €1.50. These can be used to buy one of  ten specially published World Book Day Books. A list of these books is available here. The books are usually available to buy in the Bookstation on the Main Street.
World Book Day Tokens can be used on the book club order. Just deduct €1.50 from the total cost and send the token in with the order.

As part of World Book Day, we are entering the Design a National Book Token Competition. We had to design a book-themed National Book Token. A panel of judges will select a winner and runner up in each category. One overall winner’s design will be made into a real National Book Token and distributed to bookshops nationwide in time for Christmas.
