iPads in 3rd Class

3rd Class are very lucky to have iPads in the classroom for the next few weeks. The games have been great to play and are a fun way to help us learn our spellings and tables. Our favourite apps so far have been Spelling City and Math Fight!

Sports Day 2017 in St. Joseph’s

<h6>The showgrounds was the venue for St. Joseph’s sports day in 2017. The day was a great success. Our pupils won medals galore and parents a plenty arrived to cheer their children on. We’re looking forward already to next year’s event.</h6>

 

3rd Class School Tour

3rd Class had a great day out on their school tour on 19th May. The first stop was the Heritage Park in Wexford, where the students got to “travel in time” (by spinning around quickly!) through the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age. After the Heritage Park the boys and girls got to try out all kinds of fun activities in Leisuremax, such as sumo racing, archery, foot-pool and bowling. Overall it was a fantastic day for everybody!
