Starry Night

Our latest pieces of art were inspired by Van Gogh’s Starry Night.  First we painted the night sky scene onto tinfoil and then printed them onto paper. Afterwards we cut out silhouette buildings and stuck them onto the night sky.

       

Gaelic Leagues – 1st & 2nd class

All children in 1st and 2nd class were randomly assigned a county as their team for Gaelic Leagues. The 10 counties played 10 games after which we had two exciting semi-finals and a final between Wexford and Galway. The rest of the children chose a team and cheered them on from the sidelines. Galway were the winners this year but there was some very promising talent among all of the teams.
