Pupil of the Week Awards
Congratulations to these 2nd class pupils who were awarded Pupil of the Week over these last months. This is given for super behaviour (eg, kindness, perseeverance, helpfulness), academic excellence or for consistent effort and improvement.
Olympian School Visit, 13.3.24
Ms Rochford’s and Ms Kinsella’s 2nd classes entered a competition to have a school visit from an Olympian. I am delighted to say we were successful! A very well done to the children!
The Olympian sprinter, Marcus Lawler, will visit the school on 13th March next. He will spend two hours at the school which will encompass a whole school assembly. This will be followed by a presentation, Q&As, activities and demonstrations, initially with all 2nd classes and then with 5th and 6th classes. Christmas Door Winners
Congratulations to 2nd class on winning the Christmas door competition in the middle classes category. Our theme was Santa’s workshop. The children drew their own elves and Santa too! Take a peek at the amazing detail of their drawings.
