Hurling Coaching
The infant classes had great fun over the past 6 weeks, learning the basic hurling skills using their personally-designed mini hurls. A big thanks to Paddy our coach, who provided us with loads of fun games and activities to develop our skills.
P.E. with 5th Class
To end our 6 weeks of Paired Reading with 5th class, we went to the hall where the 5th class took the reigns to teach the Senior Infants some fun games. The activities were very well organised by the senior children who completed a leadership programme during the week. Thank you to Mr. Kavanagh’s class, we all had great fun!
February in Senior Infants
This month, we have been learning all about the Sports Shop. In our role-play corner, we ran our very own sports shop, selling helmets, hurls, jerseys, balls and much more! We also painted our own mini hurls which we will be using for coaching after the mid-term.
Christmas in Senior Infants🎄🎅🏼
We had a great time this month learning all about the Post Office in Aistear, doing Christmas artwork, decorating our door for Christmas, learning about Advent, doing some fun PE lessons and learning how to measure length and width using cubes and lollipop sticks.
