Fun in 3rd Class!

3rd class have had a great start to school. We have been very busy learning about myths and legends. 3rd class learned about the Salmon of Knowledge story. We had a quiz to test our knowledge and the class enjoyed performing different scenes of the story in groups. Áine has also been teaching us hip hop dancing, we had a dance off and are learning the steps to a group dance. September was brilliant!

Olympic Handball Finals

Well done to the girls and boys u11 and u13 teams who participated in the regional finals in Castletown playing against teams from Wicklow and Carlow. All our four teams have now qualified for the Leinster Finals to be held in March in Gormanstown in Co.Meath, where, they will play against other county representatives from across Leinster. They were presented with their medals at school assembly. Well done and best of luck in the Leinster Finals.

Halloween Fun

This year, 6th class made a huge effort to dress up. We enjoyed the spooky season by playing games and even had a thrilling dance off! We had the pleasure of going to see the Creagh College musical on our final day.
