Croke Park & The Natural History Museum
On October 27th 6th Class went on the first of their three school tours. They toured Croke Park, saw animals from Ireland and abroad in the Natural History Museum, and ate until they could eat no more in McDonald’s. A great day was had by all and we’re already looking forward to school tour number two which will take place in 2017.
Fire Drills in St. Joseph’s
Students in St. Joseph’s practised their first fire drill of the new academic year. It was made all the more real by the arrival of Gorey Fire Brigade which caused great excitement.
Healthy Eating in St. Joseph’s
Rackard League
On Friday June 10th three 6th class boys from St. Joseph’s were chosen to compete in a Rackard League blitz against Kilkenny in Nowlan Park. Brian Cushe, Thomas Wheatley and J.J. Twamley were the lucky three who had a great time representing their school.
