Fire Drills in St. Joseph’s

Students in St. Joseph’s practised their first fire drill of the new academic year. It was made all the more real by the arrival of Gorey Fire Brigade which caused great excitement.

Colours and Fun in Junior Infants

September has been a very busy month in Room 2! We did sorting activities, went on a colour walk outside, listened to stories and coloured some pictures of course! We love to use all of the colours of the rainbow!
As part of our ‘Grow In Love’ Programme we also talked about how we can ‘Colour the World with Kindness’ by doing nice things for others…look at the photos to see just how busy we have been!

Healthy Eating!

In our school we try to eat healthily. We bring a healthy lunch to school everyday although we do have one treat on a Friday which we really look forward to! Miss Doyle has been very happy to see the boys and girls in Room 2 eating up all of their lunch every day which gives them energy to run around and have fun in the yard.
