P.E:

Here are some websites for ideas:

RTE Jr 10@10 can be found here

Joe Wicks has a YouTube channel and does daily workouts for children. You can find his channel here

Mrs. Murphy’s Work:

Continue 1 SNIP per fortnight and make sure to give your child a spelling test weekly on this. Children should use look, say, cover, write and check method. If children are struggling with words play snap using flash cards.

Toe by Toe daily until they get three dots.

Get the children to read daily at their own level, no more than 3 words per page that they can’t say. Ask the children questions based on it to ensure understanding. Pick out high frequency words.

If you child has Lexia or Maths Made Easy on their laptops, get them to do it daily. They should be well able to work away and they will enjoy it!

Addition tables practice is really good for number facts. Try www.arithmetic.zetamac.com

Just do addition tables and change the ranges from 2-12.

Don’t worry if they get stuck, we will be there to help them. If you need any help, don’t hesitate to contact me on orla.murphy@stjosephsgorey.ie
