We are in the middle of May now! I hope that you are all safe and well and you getting plenty of fresh air and enjoying the sunshine. Thanks to everyone who has contacted me so far. There was some fantastic pieces of work sent in last week!
The work listed below (Monday 18th – Friday 22nd May) is a general guideline and you can choose activities that suit. Just try your best! Please do not hesitate to contact me on : marie.conway@stjosephsgorey.ie if you need any assistance or if you would like to send on any completed work. Remember all written work can be completed in your homework copy/ a spare copy or on sheets that you might have at home. Please remember to rule your copy, write the date and heading.

- Make an obstacle course if possible – running, climbing, jumping, crawling, balancing, add in a water filling task and use some of your maths skills etc.

SPHE: Complete a gratitude journal. A gratitude journal is a book where you write at least three things that you are grateful for at the end of each day. At the end of your diary entry on each day, write down three things you are grateful for.
Ask at home if there are any jobs you could do to help out. Learn to hang clothes on the line/set the table/sweep and wash the floor. Complete a random act of kindness each day!

MRS. MURPHY’S WORK
1) Continue working on dolch list one – the, to, and, he, a, I, you, it, of, in, was, said, his, that, she, for, on, they, but and had! Flashcards are great for these take 5 at a time and when they know them move on to next five.
2) Go to https://www.ateachableteacher.com/online-sight-words-games it has 10 online games to teach sight words are free and super interactive and enjoyable.
3) Snip activity per fortnight plus a spelling test.
4) Continue toe by toe.
5) Continue Lexia and Maths Made Easy!
6) Reading at your own level with no more than 3 words per page that are difficult.
