Hello again everyone! Imagine it’s the last week of May already. Time is flying!
Here is work for you to do this week. Remember to try and do a little of each subject every day and keep a routine. Please do not get worried about getting all of this done. Just try your best.

For the last few weeks we have been skip counting in 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s, 6s and 10s. We learned some songs to help us. Keep going over these as much as you can to make sure you know them.
Tables are so important. Please practise on the Hit the Button app. Keep practising your number bonds, but try the Times Tables too. This week I want you to keep trying your x2, x3 and x4 on it.
This week we are moving on to Money.

The Ascension:
The Feast of the Ascension is celebrated on the seventh Sunday of Easter (six weeks after Easter Sunday). This year it is celebrated on the 24th of May.
Here is a video telling us about what Jesus to his disciples before he ascended into heaven. It tells us about the promises Jesus made to his friends.

Pentecost:
When Jesus was growing up he spoke a language called Aramaic. The disciples spoke it too. Here is the Our Father in Aramaic.
Pentecost Sunday will be celebrated on the 31st of May.
Here are two different videos telling the story of Pentecost. When you have finished watching these, do page 46 and page 47 in your Grow in Love.
Even though we cannot attend Mass at the moment, St. Michael’s Church stream Mass live on the church website (www.stmichaelsgorey.ie) at 10am daily. They also broadcast it on the radio on 106FM.
For the month of May, they will also be streaming the rosary daily at 7pm. If you tune in on Mondays, you never know who you might see.
SPHE:
On Mondays we will be practising our Mindfulness. This week we are doing a Body Scan.
Over the next few weeks we will be working on this Weaving Well-being booklet. You can download and print it or do it in your copy. For this week, I want you to do pages 5 and 6.

2) Go to http://www.ateachableteacher.com/online-sight-words-games This website has 10 online games to teach sight words. The games are free, super-interactive and enjoyable .
3) Snip activity per fortnight plus a spelling test.
4) Continue Toe by Toe
5) Continue Lexia and Maths Made Easy.
6) Reading at your own level with no more than 3 difficult words per page.
