Mr O’Brien 6th Class May 25th – May 29th

Hello 6th Class,

I hope you have all had a good weekend and are keeping well. Once again, thank you to all of you who have been in contact and sent me your work to check. It has been great to hear from you!

This week is similar to the last two weeks as I have once again split the work into daily amounts. Each day you will have about 30-40 minutes of English, Gaeilge & Maths and then one further subject. Set aside your time each day and work through the activities as best you can. Again, you do not have to complete all the work in each subject but you should be spending about 2 hours/2 hours 30mins on the work that has been given. Concentrate when you are doing it and try stay away from all distractions.

If you are finishing the work much quicker than the 2 hours, spend some extra time reading or going back over Mental Maths Problem Solving questions that we may not have done throughout the year.
Plenty of extra reading on top of the work assigned – atleast 20 minutes extra reading each day of a book of your choice.

Set your morning out like the timetable below so you have a good structure and know what time you should be finished each subject:

Time Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday
