June 2nd- 5th
Hello everyone!
I hope you enjoyed the fabulous sunshine and had a great weekend. Well done on all the wonderful work you completed last week. Parents, thanks for your ongoing support. As always my email address is mkirwanji@hotmail.com should you wish to contact me.
Below is a daily outline of work for the week. This week we have been asked to focus on English and Maths only. Once again do not put yourself under pressure to complete everything, do as much as you can each day. If you would like to do more than this, feel free to choose some activities from the optional work at the end of the page. Thank you.
Tuesday:
Phonics – Continue to revise all Jolly Phonics sounds in Sounds Copy

Jolly Phonics Tricky Words: was, to, do, are, all
(These words cannot be sounded out, they will have to be learned.)
The children have come across the word ‘are’ in their reader so they should already know this word. The other four words are new. Daily practice of these words – look and say each word until they are familiar with them and recognise them on sight. Writing or printing each word separately on paper will help when practising them.
